Create SDE Account

The 'SDE' account will be the primary Geodatabase Admin account. For geodatabase management and administration, this account should be used.

Launch SQL Management Studio (SSMS) and login as the 'superadmin' user. Once logged in, expand the navigation tree on the left-panel. Once expanded, expand the 'Security' sub-section and navigate to the 'Logins' dropdown and right click the dropdown add select 'Create New User.'

The user created has the following details:

server role: public

password policy >> disabled
